because theyre either wrong or misleading. the 5.6% GDP growth was actually from Q4 last year, and was actually revised to 5.9%, ironically. but it was due to businesses stocking up on inventory, primarily in the agricultural sector. growth without jobs isnt real growth. heres a question i asked on that exact stat.

when talking about the 162000 jobs he doesnt mention 42000 are temporary census jobs, or that many are low paying retail jobs. he doesnt mention that march gains were still lower than predicted. and why does he mention the fact unemployment was revised upward if hes trying to say obama is fixing it?

the conference board of economic indicators being up for eleven months straight is the leading indicators index, which was up by .1% in february and .3% in january, so its actually slowing down. also, an economist at the conference board commented that the indicators point to a slow recovery this summer, and that without increased consumer demand, job growth will be minimal over the next few months.
