Why do you want to leave your current job/employer?

I need a little help formulating the best answer to this question. Reality is I’m unhappy. The company has long underperformed in the stock market. I am looking for a company with greater chance for financial success. 60 percent of the workforce I manage today is in India, that number increases day-by-day. I think that by changing industries, I may have a more secure future – I don’t think that reason flies.

I plan to avoid the question by merely stating that I am seeking a company that provides me with greater executive/management opportunities.

Trouble is that I know I have those opportunities with my current employer. I’m just sick of the constant cuts in workforce, the bleeding to off-shore and the low performing stock.

$$$$. Lots and lots of dollars is why I would leave my old company.
