The President’s staff, and at least one General, have attacked the findings of an independent report from the Government Accountability Office before it is officially released. The y are eager to play politics with a factual report that was required by law. Is this another example of Bush refusing to face reality? He can’t even accept a report from the Executive Branch that disagrees with his rhetoric. They can’t blame liberal Democrats for this one…….is the President living in the same world as the soldiers on the ground in Iraq?
No he is not in the same world as the soldiers on the ground, nor was he in the same world as the airmen in the air during the Viet Nam war. Colin Powell explicitly warned Bush"If you break it, you own it.", I suspect he is finding ownership rather tedious these days.

He is a Politician. Follow the course is all they say. Evil doers will be dealt with. Thats what the public likes to hear. Politicians are all about egos and who they can impress next. In this case we need someone like Arnold to step in a say Astalavista Baby.
