Isn’t Susan wise? Can one really find love, true love, on a reality show?

i can’t think of anything more unreal…surreal..

Heres hoping she never has to search for love…and that some gentle, wise man will find her for himself.

Los Angeles, Nov 19 (PTI) Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle is too busy to find time for love and has turned down an offer from a TV reality show who sought to find her perfect match. The 48-year-old singer found fame on reality show ”Britain”s Got Talent” earlier this year, and famously boasted about remaining single during her adult life, reported OK! magazine online.

Boyle was subsequently approached by TV executives to star in a show to hunt out a potential partner, but she declined. "There”s no time for that (a boyfriend) now, I”m far too busy," said Boyle."There was a TV company that wanted to set me up with a man. Apparently he was a nice man, but I”ve got my living to do now.

I don”t mind being friendly, but no marriage plans as yet," she added.

Sensible,rather than wise.

I hear they’re doing,’Finding a wife in Bombay’.I’m going to apply for it,because I know this really sexy married woman, that I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on! :)

@ Hels – I hope you didn’t give me the thumbs down.Faith will take my answer,in the good humour it was meant.

I get the impression that she is quite happy being single, I think it would be a mistake for her to agree to that kind of show

I would say she is being very sensible

Well, let’s face it, she’s a 48-year-old virgin who hasn’t "found time for love" at any point during the previous 30 years of her adult life, and in fact she’s proud of it! What on earth makes these TV dimwits think she’s in any hurry now?

Snooty metropolitan commentators have judged her on her looks and eccentric nature, but by the standards of 50ish year old women in rural Scotland she actually ain’t that bad a catch. I can’t imagine she was very short of offers even before she was famous.

It’s clearly possible to be happy and fulfilled without needing the stereotypical spouse and 2.4 rugrats, so the TV companies should quit all this matchmaking nonsense and leave Susan alone to be free, single, and successful!
