How can I pitch a reality TV script to network executive?
It’s all about "who you know". If you are involved in the tv community, start asking around and see if someone knows someone who knows someone. Some reality shows are done by small production companies. Check out some of the reality shows, specifically on cable, and find out what production company does the show…. then contact that company and see if they are interested in any new reality ideas. It’s a good idea to write up your idea and get registered with the writer’s guild in case someone tries to use it.

Why? Television is cluttered with reality programs, why not write a decent sitcom? A detective series? A cop drama? A fun and educational children’s show? Reality shows suck.
