There seems to be quite a polarisation of idea’s on the topic
Some seem to think it is impossible and all those who say otherwise are just nuts – Bush will leave when he is supposed to and not steal the towels was one respone to the same type of question
The other half see the Partiot act the Military tribunals and current executive order 51 twined with Homeland security directive 51 along with multi million dollar camps and "free speech zones" along with the ability to arrest American born persons without charge or trial as the sign posts – for military law and final dictatorship
For the person who said these are our husbands and sons – The same can be said of the Russians – it was the sons and husbands of Russia and Germany and Italy and every other martial law nation that patrolled them -
So are all these things just normal powers of a government in times of war ?

VERY VERY slowly becoming a reality. More and more people will say "Freedom isn’t free" well, it should be, but those people just want to perch themselves above those who are truly suffering, which most never earned themselves

Martial Law is coming. When the Mexicans get enough people here, and are given unconditional amnesty, they will elect their own people into the government, and will take over America, and place everyone under martial law, thus controlling those who disagree with them.
Unless we start enforcing immigration laws now, we are looking at the fall of the USA.

It’s a coming reality, I dare to say we’re halfway there.
I’ve known about the AmeriKan concentration camps for many years, and now everyone acts like it’s big news. 6 years ago, I was a "conspiracy nut" but now, it’s necessary to let people out there know about the camps (so they can indoctrinate the sheeple into thinking the camps are for "illegals" or whatever, they’re actually for Christians and like-minded people who deflect from the bleeding heart balogna served to us daily in every news report across the country).
It’s coming, and you can deny it, look the other way, choose not to believe what’s in front of your eyes, but you will be the one going "WTF" when the military comes into your house to arrest you for "disagreeing with the Commander-in- Chief."

Oh, I definitely believe it’s coming. I’m concerned that Bush WILL find a reason to suspend elections and become our de facto dictator. After all, he managed to steal two elections, didn’t he? To me Homeland Security is translated "Brown Shirts" and I’m almost afraid to voice my opinions on here. I’m a 64 year old grandma and no danger to anyone, but how many of the Jews thrown into concentration camps fit that same description? We’ve lost so many freedoms it’s scary.

2.3 million troops with 800,000 police can’t maintain martial law over 300,000,000 US citizens against their will. Especially since only a fraction of those troops and police would even agree to be part of such a thing.
Of course, that’s what the Romans said about their republic circa 100 BCE.

It is definitely a coming reality. We are being stripped of our civil liberties more and more each day. Bush openly admits that he enjoys being a dictator and that things would be so much easier if he could set up a dictatorship. He doesn’t even try to hide it! Bush said and I quote, "If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I’m the dictator." He has made remarks like this several times before and although he has said it in a joking manner, make no mistake – he’s dead serious!!!!! Bush is part of the ruling elite (aka shadow government), and if you know anything about these people, you’ll know that they very much want a police state. They are controlling freaks who are hellbent on global domination. Many of the elites have riches beyond our wildest imaginations (Rockefeller, Rothschild, et al) and it is still not good enough for them!!! They will not be satisfied until all of us are their slaves under their complete tyrannical control. It’s insane and difficult for a lot of people to understand, but the elite are very wicked and honestly believe that they themselves are Gods and it is their job to RULE the general populace or as they would call us — "the stupids". They believe that they are undeniably superior to us, and they relish the game of hiding things in plain sight and then laughing at us at how stupid we are that we didn’t see it. They know how dumbed down most of us are and they get off on it! People know more about the Simpsons than they do about our Constitution, and the elite love it. Believe me, they are laughing their butts off at the people who think the Patriot Act is a good thing.
