i mean, in 2009 – could such an operation be conducted ?

or was that movie depicting wishful thinking, in that – its what most governments would LIKE to have as an option against terrorists hijacking planes and threatening to blow em up.

I wanna know if the technology, resources, strategic planning and a decisive think-tank could pull anything near as remarkable as what was depicted in that 1996 movie ‘Executive Decision’.

Could it ?

What would be the odds of flushing out the terrorists in the plane, and forcing a safe landing of the passenger jet ?
Are mid-air boardings of passenger airliners possible ?

One of my favorite movies because Steven Segal dies in the first 15 minutes.

   doubtful for many reasons but if it the technology does exist I am sure it is highly classified and anyone who knows about will not post that info on an open forum like this
