krishotsaucemiller…you have the right to your opinion and in some cases it is correct …having seen Buddy Guy just last month I can assure you that he is not tired or jaded …in fact he shredded the guitar on quite a few occasions and astounded some friends who came to see him for the first time.

@krishotsaucemiller You really picked the wrong guy to call tired. Buddy Guy never sounded better. I never found him convincing back in the day, but now, DAMN!

The old are getting left behind in the dust nowadays. They were ALL AMAZING back in the day, but lets be honest & admit it, they’re all tired & lack energy on stage. Dont take me wrong, I know you can evoke an emotional performance even out of a 1 note lick, but they’re all really just lacking that mojo today. Its a shame. Getting old sucks…. And whats up w BB & Guy hiring all these gansta lookin dudes on their gigs nowadays??

I second that. i grew up on plenty of Cream, Led Zep, Albert King. Blues was probably my 1st love cuz it couldn”t grab my attention as Classical music does. Before i moved on to rock n some forms of metal. No..i dun listen to typical metalcore devoid of blues like those this days.
