Of course conspiracies happen within the government. This does that make every conspiracy floated through the channels a reality. A coworker once stated she believed that cancer rates in the US are rising due to the government spraying something in the air cause cancer. I simply asked what did she base this on. She replied, I just think they are. How rational is that?

The misreporting of the engine explosion that sank the Maine.

The Misrepresentation of the Golf of Tonkin events.

The plot to kill Lincoln.

The plot to undermine the elections by Nixon and his gang.

The Iran Contra conspiracy.

The plot to overthrow FDR by leading US businessmen in the 30′s.
