I am among her supporters so my answer may be a little slanted but
YES her statements are reconcilable with reality, here’s why I think so.
I haven’t read it all, but an excerpt was on here yesterday or day before gives the impression that the bipartisan compromise was to report she abused her power for the headline but in the text of the report which offered no sanction or penalty her actions were indeed not criminal or worthy of further investigation, so it was kind of a wash in a presidential election campaign the shallow partisan can point at the headlines and accuse Palin of some kind of crime all the while ignoring the mounting evidence of nasty collusion and theft and fraud in the ACORN/FANNY/AYERS/REZKO/WRIGHT/ FRANK/OB AMA scandal, while the real truth is she didn’t do any thing wrong insisting that a miscreant be fired regardless of family relationship which probably only helped expose this state troopers alleged wrong doing to the governors office in the first place.
