I want to become an Executive producer of like Vh1,MTV,Disney,Nickolodeon….. I love reality television I love writing stories and I have lots and lots of show Ideas! I live in Los Angeles California so what are some good colleges for this kind of career?
I have no idea of any good colleges in Cali, because im from the east coast. Try doing a yahoo search for colleges in LA.
You are also referring to two completely different careers. We need more information from you. An Executive producer is first off some one who starts off with a lot of money, they get an idea from a story writter, and decide to produce the movie. they can sometimes get involved in creative aspects, but mainly focuses on making sure the movie stays on budget and time length ( there is a time lenth in which a movie has to be shot).
The writters submit their ideas to the Executive producer, in hope that the producer will take on their ideas and produce it into a movie.
Writters just got off strike in 2007 you can look into that if you want, it may give you a better description into writters benifits, and salary.
